Individual Pans

If you have never used Emma's handmade paints, you are missing out! As with all her colors, this Neutral palette is amazing in its consistency and depth. Ideal for any landscaping, shadow work, even animal portraits. And as always, I am in love with Snow, both for creating effects and for white highlights, whiskers, etc. Even though I have just the mini pans, they are so well pigmented that I'm sure they will last for quite some time. (This was just a real quick sketch on, unfortunately, not so great paper. But it gave me a chance to play with the whole palette)

Wow - the colors in this palette looked beautiful on screen, but in reality - beyond gorgeous!! They are rich, deep and soooo smooooth! The paints rewet easily a little goes a long way. I purchased this tin, as well as Honey, Brick and Snow - beautiful together, as you can see. I love all the paints I have purchased from Paint Wild and will continue to be a customer.

Wow, I have never seen paint react this way on paper. It actually seems to move when placed on paper, like a chemical reaction. the colours are so rich .

These paints are amazing. The colour intensity is incredible, perfect for a basic palette for colour mixing and to take travelling.

I absolutely love these iridescent colours! They activate really quick and are super shimmer and shine. I now think of every excuse to use these in my paintings. I have actually ordered the half pan set cause these mini pans won’t last me long at the rate I am using them !

My collection started with the primaries, which you can use to mix over a hundred other colours. There was really no need for me to get any of the other colours after that but I built up my collection over time because these paints are so beautiful with incredibly pigmented and vibrant colours where a little goes a very long way so each half-pan will last quite a while which makes it well worth the price. They arrive well-packaged (eco-friendly) and personalised, plus Emma is always super helpful. Definitely my favourite handmade paints.

I don't often use shimmery paints so the mini-pan set is the perfect size to have them in my paint collection for when I do want to add shimmer to my paintings. They re-wet and activate easily with beautiful vibrancy. They are also very pigmented so the mini-pans will last a long time.

Vibrant colour palate. I have used the Windsor Newton/ Art Spectrum, just came across Emma's Instagram and I wanted to support local small businesses. I have ordered the mini set. Certainly not disappointed! These colours go looooong way. Excellent quality. Will be ordering the bigger set.

So I was never intending to become a limited palette enthusiast. BUT I was getting frustrated with how the colours in my work just didn't feel like it was jiving. So when I stumbled across Emma's Colour Theory, I figured I had nothing to lose. I bought the paints, did the course, and OMG I am a convert. Aside from colours I find too difficult to mix, I don't plan to ever expand on this perfect trio.

Also, these colours are SO pigmented... It puts my former Winsor Newton pro pigments to absolute shame. They're beautiful and smooth and an absolute joy to use.

These paints are so beautiful! They wet so easily, are so smooth to paint with and the colours are amazing. I wanted to create a minimalist mixing palette for when I'm out and about and these are perfect. Can't wait to come back and shop for some other colours for my bigger palette.

These paints are just beautiful! They come beautifully presented and are a dream to paint with. They wet so easily and are really nice quality. This neutral palette has perfectly filled in some gaps in my watercolour collection, and are all colours that come in handy constantly. I love that the website provides all the pigment info too. I will be back!
